Adrian Browning

Adrian grew up in the Corps at Bargoed learning to play an instrument under the teaching of Ron Price (another member of the Fellowship band).

In 1978 the family moved to the Abercarn Corps which in 1980 merged with Pontymister to become the Risca Corps, but in 1988 Adrian left the Salvation Army and started conducting with non-Salvation Army bands. After some 21 years away he felt that God was knocking very hard and Adrian gave his life back to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In February 2009 he was enrolled as a Soldier back at Risca Corps playing in the band and singing in the Songsters. Then in September 2010 He was commissioned as the Young People's Band Leader and then in October 2011 was commissioned as Bandmaster succeeding his brother Ian who had served as Bandmaster at Risca for some 17 years.

In June 2014 the South & Mid Wales Divisional Fellowship Band was formed and Adrian was appointed as Divisional Fellowship Bandmaster.

Adrian States "I am delighted to be Bandmaster of the Divisional Fellowship Band. Our aim is to bless people through our music ministry and praying that people will be saved and wanting to know God as I know him as my friend and Saviour".
